Pre-Tweaked fsx.cfg File Disclaimer
  • It is highly recommended that you backup your original fsx.cfg file before installing the purchased tweaked fsx.cfg file. If you made a mistake, and you didn't backup your original fsx.cfg file, you can always delete the fsx.cfg file and restart FSX. FSX will build a new fsx.cfg file, however you will need to make any necessary settings adjustments since the new fsx.cfg file will be set to default perimeters.
  • After you have modified your file, and after you start FSX, all trusted gauges will need to be reinitialized. Answer "Yes / OK" to any gauge prompts encountered.
  • Your default flight will also need to be reloaded and re-saved upon FSX restart. This is an easy process. Load your default flight by clicking "Load" from the Free Flight Screen, selecting your saved flight and check the box titled "Make this the default flight." Or you can also start a flight after selecting your aircraft, starting location, weather and time and saving the flight when your flight begins.
  • Any additional aircraft storage directories will need to be re-added to the fsx.cfg file. Instructions are included in the Installation Instructions-Read Before Installing! file located within the fsxcfg.zip file.
  • Customer support for incomplete downloads or corrupted files can be reached by email at fsx.cfg@highflightsimulations.com. If your download fails, High Flight Simulations will provide you with a link via email to retrieve your file, provided your payment has been verified and your payment verification matches the email address of your download request. The subject line of your re-download request MUST state "Download Failure Request" for your link to be sent to you. Your download upon initial payment is instantaneous, however "Download Failure Request" may take up to 24 hours.
  • All files downloaded are subject to the Use of Website Terms and Conditions.
  • All sales are final.
